The overall aim of our research is to analyse the direct and indirect impact of the pandemic on the middle-aged and elderly population. The study is carried out in the framework of the WW-Fingers consortium, and our research team joined the research at the personal invitation of the consortium leader, Professor Miia Kivipelto. The study focuses on changes in lifestyle factors (e.g. diet, physical activity), changes in the treatment of people with neurocognitive disorders (e.g. diabetes and hypertension treatment), and changes in psychosocial factors (e.g. mood disorders, sleep disorders, social isolation). The survey also examines already identified and potential risk factors for severe COVID-19 progression. The protocol developed follows the recommendations of the WHO "Neurology and COVID-19 Global Forum", which has the overall aim of exploring the links between the pandemic and the management of neurological diseases. The data will be collected in person and electronically, the form is available and can be filled in at the following link: ...

In addition to the Benelux and Scandinavian countries, our country is an active participant in the international corona virus study.
